Virtual Reality Exploration! Come Join us June 29th!
Educational Innovation 360° has partnered up with various organizations around the Indianapolis area to host events that will discuss how educators can innovate their classrooms by offering a new prospective on learning. In this group we get teachers out of their comfort zones introduce them to community members as well as academic faculty so we can connect and produce interdisciplinary projects. Our structure is unique to educators because we are all educators and believe in the power of creating an exceptional student experience.
Come Meet Like Minded Educators
Our meetings are full of life, discussion, and collaboration. First, meet at a selected location. Together we brainstorm and select a need. Ei360° reaches out to the hangout location and solidifies a space. The meeting work-group agenda is as followed:
Brief introduction – every meeting is filled with a new idea, speaker, or workshop leader
Brainstorm – together we will work in groups to share and brainstorm ideas based off the new concept
Share- We come together and share ideas and create new ideas to implement in a classroom lesson
Connection- Last we connected it to an overall theme build a lesson while using technology to gather resources
Implementation- One implemented the lesson come back and share grows and glows so we can tweak the lesson and share it on our google drive of connected learners.
New Adventure Learning
Much of our connection is a new adventure in learning. Each event includes a speaker session, workshop, and or exploratory event. The best part about this connection is our teacher collaboration and connected plans. We work together as a team to share, look up, and brainstorm potential school activities based off potential projects. Our goal is to create a group of innovative teachers that are teaching in our current K12 schools.
Fun Time to Connect
During our two-hour meeting we will be actively involved in games, through fun shared experiences and create a bond that will transform our local group into a global connection. With Ei360° there is never a dull moment, allow your inner youth to explore all activities! Our first activity is going to be in a Virtual and Augmented Reality Lab. Have you ever been to one? Make sure you bring your walking shoes; we will be doing a little walking to connect with our IT partners.
