A New Approach To Teacher PD ... Ei360°

Professional Development is not functional for traditional teachers.  Most schools, make traditional teachers look for opportunities outside of their job.  In the state of Indiana, teachers need 90 points to renew their professional educators license, 40 points for a practitioners license, and 36 points for an educational interpreters license.

How many Hours does it take to keep your license?

If we were to calculate how many hours a teacher needs to clear a professional license, that’s over 90 hours; outside of work.  This does not include the research it takes to find adequate opportunities that will count towards a school’s Professional Growth Points.  Finally, is a teachers reimbursement check for food, sometimes teachers don’t get per-diem back and are forced to pay for unseen circumstances.

Growing and Seeking out Opportunities
